Go mobile with free 3G/4G connectivity.

If you need to take payments in the back of a cab or a yurt on a remote field, you can’t assume you’ll have access to Wi-Fi. That’s why the Dojo Go comes with mobile SIM connectivity. When your Wi-Fi is out of range you can simply switch to mobile connectivity and take speedy contactless card payments from your customers. No fuss, no dodgy connections, just card payments your way.

How do portable card machines work?

The Dojo Go is a wireless card machine that uses Wi-Fi to connect to the internet to process payments. The card machine itself will come in two parts.

The base

Where you’ll charge your card machine up.

You can place the terminal into the base and plug the base into an electricity source. You can also connect your card machine base to the internet via an Ethernet cable.

Your base is set up as a hotspot and a Wi-Fi connection and your machine can be separated, so you can take payments away from your countertop, but they’ll communicate with one another via Wi-Fi or mobile connectivity, using a SIM card.

The card machine

Where the money is made.

You’ll connect your portable card machine to your base via Wi-Fi and your machine will work independently to process payments from a 100m range. For restaurant and bar owners, this means the freedom to transact at the table.

Preparing for a contactless future.

New research shows that cash payments are forecasted to decline by a huge 40% in the UK in 2020 alone. This makes the UK the country with the fastest cash decline in Europe. More and more people are comfortable paying by debit or credit card no matter the transaction value.

And with the introduction of contactless technologies such as Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay, it’s easy and convenient to pay without cash.

So if you’ve been hesitant in the past, now is the time to step into the future of card payments.
